PAPER WORK

I've heard it said that the job can't be completed until the "paperwork is done." Well, we have had our share of paperwork....beginning with our initial application, then waiting for months to apply for our Visas. Now, we are in a hurry as we leave on November 12th; but the Vietnamese Gov't has finally approved them, and we had to all gather to fill our MORE paperwork and they will be sent express mail.....along with our passports (gulp) and quite a bit of $$$/person to receive the passports WITH visa next week.....WE HOPE.....
We're getting "excited" about the prospects of building, contributing, and learning.

Preparation for JCWP in Vietnam

Our group of 12 volunteers from Kearney Area Habitat for Humanity are arranging for their JCWP experience in Dong Xa, Vietnam, a fishing village approximately 30 miles from Hanoi. We have made travel arrangements, gathered tools necessary to build one house out of 32 being constructed the week of November 15, 2009.
